[Why does all this feel so familiar? So many people, so many new faces, it seems unbelievable. It's enough to give this poor demon a headache, especially considering he has to be out in the thick of it to make sure he keeps the peace.

Adell can be found pretty much anywhere in town, keeping an eye out for fires that need to be extinguished. Of course, he might have a few of his own to deal with if he runs into the wrong people.

How long of a weekend is it going to be for this guy?...]

[With her original wings this time, an obvious sign that her stay will probably only be temporary.

Which set of wings she's sporting right now doesn't have any impact on her reaction, which is to slam into Adell again, except this one is intentional and for a hug and a string of indecipherable and apologetic muttering.]

[Adell doesn't say anything right away... instead just returning her hug warmly. He sees her normal devil wings during the hug, instinctively putting two and two together. A melancholy feeling wells in his chest, which causes him to squeeze her gently. It was cruel, perhaps, for time to be their enemy. But for the moment it was a gift.

Adell rested a hand on the back of her head, stroking her hair lightly.]

It's okay, Koa. I'm glad to see you.

I... [...she has no idea what to say. Or, rather, she has things she wants to say, but can't quite grasp how to say them.

She didn't want to leave again. Even if it was no fault of her own, she feels terrible for having left her "brother" behind; that was how she saw him given everything that happened the first time she was here, and he was probably well aware of it. She feels even worse knowing that her wings not being replaced means she isn't supposed to be here again and that she'll eventually just wake up in the library as if nothing ever happened, once again incapable of remembering.]

[Her tripping over her words is understandable. Instead of forcing the issue, he continued stroking the back of her head.]

Don't worry about apologizing, Koa. It's okay. And if it's something else... don't force it. Just say it when you're comfortable to.

[He doesn't move yet, keeping her hugged to him, at least until she wants to break it.]

[...that prompts him to squeeze her tighter again, and keeps him silent for a good, long moment.]

Can...we go do something while I'm still here? A walk, or go to the library, the lake, or just find a place to talk, or...I don't care, just—

Something. Anything.

[He nods, and smiles slightly, if solemnly.]

Yeah... let's go to the tea shop. Hopefully it should be quiet there and we can talk.

[And of course, spend what precious time they can together.]

O-okay. It was... [She racks her brain for a few moments trying to dig through some of the fuzzier memories of this place, before pointing down one of the roads.] That way, right?

Yeah, that's right. Hopefully Sheena won't mind a visit with how crazy things are right now.

[Or more hopefully, the place won't be too crazy.]

[Crazy? Come on, Adell, you remember how the house was. If the tea shop is anywhere near the level of crazy that it got in there at times, she'll probably just shrug it off.]

[Another smile to her, and he starts heading down the path alongside her. He didn't need to say much else about anything right now. She was here, even if it was for a short time. An irreplaceable part of his Luceti family.

And to a person like Adell, family meant more than anything, even if there wasn't a hint of blood between them.]

[There might have been no blood between these two, but they had other connections, people they both knew, experiences that were shared, even one or two impossible similarities. It could possibly even be argued that the family Adell knew here in Luceti came together because of Koakuma, or that it was at least partially because of her.

Once they do make it to the tea shop, she's looking for a quiet place to sit down, or one as quiet as reasonably possible given how the village feels more-crowded than she ever remembered it being.]

[Thankfully, the tea shop doesn't appear to be overwhelmed, but definitely busier than usual. Adell spots a table in the corner, and points to it to direct Koa there.

After they work their way over to the table, Adell takes a seat along with her.]

Busier than I hoped, but at least we got a seat. Anything you especially want, Koa?

Anything you think is good should be fine. [Seriously, Adell, she will be content with anything from now until the moment this place decides to spit her back out.]

Just thought I'd check.

[He looks over to the person on duty and signals for two of his usual. It'll just be normal green tea, but it'll be fine.]

[Once the order is brought over, Koa gives hers a tentative sip to determine what it is, identifying it on the spot thanks to having tea pretty much every day, both here and back at the mansion.

She then sits herself up straight and offers a little grin.]
