[An enthusiastic voice comes online over the journal system, clearly making an announcement for everyone to hear.]

So, Luceti, who out there enjoys music?  I imagine pretty much everyone, right?  Well, then I've got something for you guys!  This weekend, it'll be your chance to see Luceti's most talented vocalist live in concert for the very first time!  That's right, Luka Megurine will be performing this Saturday at the Battle Dome for one night, and the show can not be missed!   Admission?  Free, of course!  So that means Old Feathers and New Feathers alike have no excuse not to get out and have some fun.

And New Feathers, don't miss the party being organized by Selphie and Rise!   We've agreed to share a venue, and this is a very special occasion, meant to welcome the New Feathers and celebrate the veteran Lucetians as well!  Further details will be given later this week!

So don't forget!  Be there!

[Action]

[Today, for most of the day, Adell is outside pouring himself into work on the concert itself.  Well, specifically, he's building parts of the stage; parts that he can move in and put it together in the Battle Dome.  It's a surprising amount of foresight on his part to be able to have it be easily moved and assembled like a piece of furniture.  It's still very time consuming to do, which is why he's getting it done now.   Well, that, and it's taking his mind off of a lot of other things he doesn't want to deal with right now.  Friends leaving, girlfriend's memory being toyed with by the Malnosso, you know how it is.

Otherwise, he's out on the town hanging up homemade fliers announcing the concert, so if you missed his voice post, it's easy to see what's going on here!  He can be easily bothered any time during the day.]

Technically? No. Honor system, pretty much.

[Voice] wow that was not the icon i wanted

... Amazing. I would think crime would run rampant here. Perhaps the honor system does work, in some circumstances.

It could be because there's no money. Nothing has monetary value, so survival and luxury aren't really big deals. And as for murder, people come back in a week anyway.

Besides that, most bad guys know the Blue Rogues and the other villagers would drop the hammer on them once it got out.

I see. Then there is no benefit to go along with committing crimes in this place. [ ... ] That would make it a fantastic getaway, if it weren't for the situation behind it all ... That's too bad.

At least it's one silver lining to this whole thing. This place would be a hell of a lot worse if there was some serious crime going around.

It would be. It'd be covered in graffiti and would look so slum-y, too. I don't want to picture that.

I'm not sure most of the people here are the graffiti types...

[Voice]

[identity profile] wantsfriedbread.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
They may not be doing it now, but you never know how they'd react if their surroundings were like that. They may be simply waiting for their chance to shine.

Actually, come to think of it, I know at least one guy who would've been the graffiti type, but he was more of an actual artist rather than some punk.

[Voice]

[identity profile] wantsfriedbread.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
You never know. Graffiti may be a guilty pleasure of his.

[Bluntly:]

Wouldn't be surprised.

[Voice]

[identity profile] wantsfriedbread.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? Then maybe he's more of a punk than you originally took him for.

[Voice]

[identity profile] vulcanblazer.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
Well... he'd probably claim it was a form of expression, like painting a mural. Much as it annoys me to admit, the guy was more of the tasteful sort when it came to art.

I get the feeling that's what it was all about for him. The art, the expression. Not for whatever reasons most punks would make graffiti.

Interesting ... Is this person in Luceti?

[Voice]

[identity profile] vulcanblazer.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Not... anymore. He was sent home a couple of months ago, I think.

Oh. That's good for him, then, getting lucky like that.

[Voice]

[identity profile] vulcanblazer.livejournal.com 2011-05-18 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
I'll bet he's probably pretty happy about it. Probably sitting at some cafe drinking coffee and painting a picture or something.

How very typical. But that makes it fairly possible, too.
