So, Luceti, who out there enjoys music? I imagine pretty much everyone, right? Well, then I've got something for you guys! This weekend, it'll be your chance to see Luceti's most talented vocalist live in concert for the very first time!  That's right, Luka Megurine will be performing this Saturday at the Battle Dome for one night, and the show can not be missed! Admission?  Free, of course! So that means Old Feathers and New Feathers alike have no excuse not to get out and have some fun.

And New Feathers, don't miss the party being organized by Selphie and Rise!   We've agreed to share a venue, and this is a very special occasion, meant to welcome the New Feathers and celebrate the veteran Lucetians as well!  Further details will be given later this week!

[Today, for most of the day, Adell is outside pouring himself into work on the concert itself. Well, specifically, he's building parts of the stage; parts that he can move in and put it together in the Battle Dome. It's a surprising amount of foresight on his part to be able to have it be easily moved and assembled like a piece of furniture.  It's still very time consuming to do, which is why he's getting it done now.   Well, that, and it's taking his mind off of a lot of other things he doesn't want to deal with right now. Friends leaving, girlfriend's memory being toyed with by the Malnosso, you know how it is.

Otherwise, he's out on the town hanging up homemade fliers announcing the concert, so if you missed his voice post, it's easy to see what's going on here!  He can be easily bothered any time during the day.]

[In a little over an hour's time, Adell shows up at the welcome center, carrying a bottle of sports drink and looking... much like he's been working outside all day. Because that's what he has been doing.

Still, he'll give a wave to Rydia once he comes in.]

Hey! Sorry if I'm a little late.

[Rydia waves, from setting out more sandwiches and veggies on the table. There's some pastries, too.]

Hello! Don't worry about it. I'm just glad to see you. How's the stage coming along?

Pretty well. It's taking a lot of time, but it's coming together nicely. I'll have to go assemble it fully in the Battle Dome later in the week and then put the rigging and lights up, but I think we'll be in good shape.

[He reaches for one of the sandwiches. Yeah, he worked up an appetite.]

It's no problem! I'm just glad for the company. Nothing wrong with New Feathers, but it's nice to have someone around who I don't have to explain everything to.

Yeah, that gets old fast. I can only imagine how many times you've had to give people the speech.

I've lost count, honestly. Not that I really mind, or I wouldn't be here.

[She reaches over to snag some veggies for herself.]

Speaking of New Feathers, there's an addition to my house. We don't feel like moving again, so the plan is to build an extra room.

[He nods at the sentiment.]

Of course.

A new room, huh? Well, wouldn't be the first time one of the houses here got some additions.

Right, and I know we might be lacking some of the extras that the Malnosso give the buildings, but...we don't really mind that. It's just that Eiko is young and I'm the only person here she really knows. She needs a room of her own, especially if Rosa does return.

[She pauses and chuckles.]

It's silly, isn't it? If we'd stayed in the old house, we would have more than enough room. But we didn't expect to have a full house again and went for something smaller. Now it's too small, and our old place is taken.

Well, if you can find someone who can wire it, you can probably get electricity in there eventually.

But you never know what might happen here, that's the thing. You couldn't have guessed that you'd get so many people to come back. So keeping roots where you are makes pretty good sense, I think.

Exactly. And...that's why I wanted to ask about your experience in building things. We have plenty of wood, thanks to Moro, but actual construction isn't something we've needed to bother with before. I want to make sure it's done right.

...as for wiring, I'm not sure who can do that, but one less opportunity for Eiko to play with the sockets is probably for the best, anyway.

I'll give you a hand as best as I can. I've not actually built a whole room on a house before, but I can give it a shot! If nothing else, an extra set of hands will be helpful, right? When were you planning on building?

Next week, after the concert...well, assuming that the new experiment isn't too disruptive to us all.
