008 Special [Action]
[Adell is wandering around the House of Personas. Enticed by the premise and thinking it'd be more like a traditional house of mirrors, Adell decided to blow a token on it. Inside, he's surprised to truly see visions of himself. He pauses briefly, looking at a past version of himself as a child, happily living with his family. He moves on after lingering for a moment. He catches glimpse of himself training hard, to defeat Overlord Zenon. This too brings a smile to his face.
Then he passes the vision of himself celebrating the removal of the curse over Veldime. He takes pause here, memories of his home flooding back to him. He becomes lost in thought for several minutes, staring at the mirror and the party going on behind his vision. Adell smiles, seeing his friends from home around him. Eventually, he moves on to the next mirror.
He halts, nearly stumbling over his own feet. In this mirror, a different figure and landscape stared back at him. Barren and arid, the desert behind the figure conjured a powerful sense of dread in him, but it was nothing compared to the being that stood in the foreground. The Adell in the mirror had large, powerful bat wings jutting from his back, spread wide open and looming menacingly around him. A depraved, sociopathic grin of pointed teeth and fangs was on his face, punctuated by glowing red eyes. The whites of those eyes were gone, replaced with a color that resembled pitch. Wounds covered the figure's body, though they clearly did nothing to bother him. But... perhaps the most disquieting thing to Adell was the sword his image was holding. It was chipped, battered, worn, and blood-drenched. That blood dripped off the blade unceremoniously into a puddle on the ground.
It is here Adell remains standing, his face pale. This might be a curious sight to an outside observer...]

Hey, are you all right?
[She glances over to the mirror and...stares. Wow.]

Adell.
[Action]
...Simon.
[Action]
Stand aside. Let me look in the mirror.
[OoC: Should I assume the mirror shows a false future? Or one of many possible ones?]
[Action]
[OOC: The mirror is meant to show Adell's fear of his own heritage, and what he perceives he might one day become. By extension, it is an interpretation of what he may have become after the Worst Ending in Disgaea 2.]
[Action]
[Simon steps in front of the mirror. He sees the ceremonial room in the heart of Castlevania. A coffin is sitting upright in the middle of the room, at the center of a magical circle. At different points of the circle, hooded figures are sitting and chanting. Simon's reflection is standing in front of the coffin, with pale skin and a smile on his face. Suddenly, a woman wielding the Vampire Killer rushes into the room, her features mark her as a Belnades. Simon's smile breaks into a fang-revealing grin and he steps aside as the coffin door opens.
At this point, the real Simon looks away from the mirror.]
Adell, will you make a promise to me?
[Action]

[Action]
It's a deal, Simon. I promise you, I won't become that monster.
[Adell pumps his fist vertically.]
And I always keep my promises.
[Action]
So do I.
[Action]
Oh, yes. And I thought my images were strange.
...but that's all they are, images. Right?
[Action]
[Action]
A warning, then? Something that can be averted? If it hasn't happened, it's not set in stone.

Though perhaps seeing it like this will be enough to make you ensure that it doesn't happen. Who knows. But it's just an attraction, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

[She tilts her head at the revelation, though doesn't seem shocked or repulsed.]
I admit I don't know much about demons, but you seem the friendly sort.
[Well, unsettling mirror image aside.]
