Number Unknown - Letters

Daisy,

I'm not sure when, or if, this letter will ever be given to you. But the fact that you are reading this can only mean one thing. First, I guess I should get the official business out of the way: effective immediately, I'm naming you the Captain of the Blue Rogues. The only condition to this is as follows:

1) To rescind command to Vyse should he return to Luceti and is willing to take command.

I trust that you'll keep the spirit of the organization intact. I know discipline and formality come as normal for you, and if you wish to institute some form of it into the group, that's your call. But remember first and foremost that we're friends, allies, and comrades before being true soldiers. That said... I know you'll do well. You've never disappointed me before, and I know you'll keep the people in the village, the people we both care for, safe.

On a more personal note, I'm sorry I ended up leaving, even if it was beyond my control. I know we've both never really been the best at coping with loss, and I regret causing you any pain. I just hope you remember what we talked about. About making legacies and honoring memories rather than letting them haunt you. Though I may not have said it, building the Hakurei Shrine with you was the happiest I've been in a long time. Which leads me to my next thought... I had been considering expanding the Rogues' role in the village to include keeping record of important people who have come and gone. I'd hardly call it an archive, but... honoring legacies would at least give our people something to do other than merely sit on our hands and wait for a crisis.

Daisy, you're one of the best friends I've ever had, and there were few in the village I trusted as much as you. I don't think that really needed to be said, as the written word's utterly inadequate to communicate these feelings. But I think you, better than anyone out there, know what I mean when I say that. And if, somehow, you were able to travel to another universe, you'll always be welcome on Veldime.

My final order to you, unless some twist of fate sees me return to Luceti is this:

Live. For yourself, for the people you love, and for a better world. Just live.

-Adell
2nd Captain of the Blue Rogues

P.s. ...I hate to ask this of you, but do you think you can find someone to upkeep the Hakurei Shrine every now and then? And could you take the note addressed to Reimu, along with the bottles of Gensokyo and RosenQueen sake in my closet, there for me? Make sure no one but her touches them.

Cloche,

I know nothing I can say can really help make things hurt less right now. In fact, I think saying much of anything might make it worse, but I feel like I'd be doing you a disservice if I left you nothing. We became good friends because of situations like this, and even if I'm gone now, don't think that this is the end of that friendship. I'll do everything I can to remember it, and you. But I'll need you to carry it on too. Don't forget... but don't let the pain last forever. It'll hurt for awhile, it always does. But in the end, I want to ask of you that the memories you have of me are the ones that make you happy.

You're a strong and wonderful person, Cloche. Don't ever let that change. If you ever make it to Veldime, you'll be welcome there at any time.

-Adell

Sheena,

I don't think there's a lot for me to say that you don't already know. But, even if that's true, I'm gonna say it anyway. You're a great friend, a great sparring partner, and you prepared the best tea in the whole village. I'm truly grateful we met and became close.

I'm only sorry I couldn't be there with you to keep fighting the good fight so you could get home too. Believe it or not, you were a rock and an inspiration to keep going for me. You've seen the best and worst this world has to offer and you still keep going on and on. That kind of fortitude is something I admired about you. Even if going on is all you can do, even if there are moments where it gets overwhelming, I don't think I've ever seen anyone as tough as you are.

Take care of yourself, my friend. If you can ever find a way to Veldime, stop by. You'll always be welcome there.

-Adell

Reimu,

Assuming you ever get this, and remember who "Adell" is, I found your plans to build Hakurei Shrine. After you disappeared, I felt the need to build it in your stead. I followed your plans to the best of my ability, so if things are a bit off, I apologize. Hopefully, the shrine's to your liking. I had some help in constructing it. A woman named Daisy, whom your best chance of finding is asking the Blue Rogues about her, agreed to help me partway through the project and she helped with some heavy lifting.

I kept a bottle of Gensokyo sake for you, like you asked. I'm sorry I can't be there to share it with you. Instead, I'm offering you a bottle of the finest sake the Netherworld has to offer. The crimson red label RosenQueen. I've had it stashed away for awhile. It's good stuff, so keep it for a very special occasion.

Also... in the event that you can somehow ever remember your time in Luceti if you get sent home again? Give my best to the Scarlet family, Alice, Marisa, and Yukari as well. I don't know if they'll remember me, though I hope one day to visit Gensokyo myself.

Take care until we meet again, Reimu.

-Adell
