He stops, not too far from his home apartment building and sits down on a bench, pulling out his journal. He was struck with immeasurable boredom (and perhaps a little loneliness) at the thought he just realized, but decided to speak into the journal anyway.]
Huh, didn't even realize it. Ten days ago, was the third anniversary of my arrival. Guess that's a hell of a milestone around here.
[Doesn't sound especially excited about it though. A leaf falls from a nearby tree and lands on his hair.]
And it's definitely fall now. Anyone got any good fall activities in mind? Recipes? Food? Anything? I'm kinda interested in trying something a little different lately.
[He's bored. Frustrated. The realization of three years has left him restless and he really just wants a good distraction until he can pull through his malaise.]
